How can I participate in the chat?

We cordially invite you to actively participate in the live chat of our community. Share your thoughts, ask questions or help others find their way around. Our stream and live chat are provided via YouTube. To post messages in the chat, you must be logged in to YouTube with your Google account. If you don't have a Google account yet, you can create one for free.

Is there a written version of the sermon?

Yes! In our Sermon archive you can read the sermon of the current stream as well as past sermons in different languages.

How does the translation work?

Our services are normally held in Swiss German and simultaneously translated into High German. Other languages, including English, will be offered as computer-aided translation in the near future. To listen in the desired language, click on "Translation" below the stream. You will then receive an additional stream that you can listen to in parallel to the main stream. You can then individually adjust the volume of the live stream (original sound) to get the right ratio for you. If there are any problems with the time offset, make sure that the live stream is running in live mode and has not been rewound.

Note: Some mobile devices block the simultaneous playback of two streams. In this case, use a computer or two different devices. Another tried and tested method is to play the live stream on a TV and listen to the translation on your smartphone at the same time.
